Mariana has more than 14 (fourteen) years' experience in the corporate tax area, with previous experience as a tax manager at PwC and as a senior lawyer at the international law firm Garrigues, working on tax and legal advisory projects, focusing on analyzing complex issues in these areas both at local and international levels, tax planning, corporate restructuring, and tax compliance related to corporate taxation. Her experience also includes tax planning for individuals.
She has a degree in law from Pontificia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - PUC/SP, a postgraduate degree in lato sensu tax law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV/SP and an LL.M in International Transactions from the Universidad Nebrija de Madrid/Spain with specialization courses in International Tax Law at Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário - IBDT and a course promoted by the international network TAXAND - Next Generation School 2021.
